My name’s Watts Martin. I’m a foodie, traveler, programmer and writer—mostly fiction, ranging from ‘literary’ to fantasy. A long-time resident of Tampa Bay who moved cross-country to the south San Francisco Bay area in November 2002 after my position as a web software engineer ran aground, I’ve been doing contracting work for nearly four years now, primarily as a technical writer and web developer. Currently I’m working as a PHP developer—yes, still on contract—in Mountain View.
While I have other places for more personal/literary journaling as well as random link-farming, this particular site is aimed more at playing technology pundit. There are occasionally geeky discussions and cranky rants I’d like to write that I just never get around to on my other blogs, either because I don’t have the time or because they don’t seem to fit the theme there.
